We involve young people in their work so we’re sure what we’re doing is relevant and engaging to you.
Our young advisers
We have a team of young advisers from all across Scotland. They’re human rights defenders who we work with to learn how we can be better at promoting and protecting the rights of people like them.
We talk to our young advisers regularly online while our office is closed, where they give us honest feedback about our past and future work and help us think about how we can improve. We work together to talk directly to public organisations in Scotland so that they can hear the voices of young people.
The European Network of Young Advisers
We support young people in Scotland to be part of ENYA, the European Network of Young Advisers. ENYA exists to give young people the opportunity to be heard at a European level, and we’ve helped Scottish young people be involved in it for a number of years. This year, we’re supporting young people to take part around the topic of Children’s Rights Impact Assessments.
Get in touch
You can contact us if you want to get involved with what we’re doing. We’re not looking for more young advisers at the moment, but there are still ways in which you can make your experiences heard. You might want to make us a video about a human rights issue that matters to you, or tell us about a way our work could be better.
