As a parent or carer supporting children at home, it can be hard to know where to go to find information and activities that talk about children’s rights.
This is the third in a series of short films for primary aged children to start to learn about their rights at home. It helps children think about the ways in which they can keep happy and healthy.
UNCRC Article 6
I should be supported to live and grow
Article 6 of the UNCRC recognises that all children and young people have the right to survive and the right to develop.
UNCRC Article 24
I have the right to good quality health care, to clean water and good food
Article 24 of the UNCRC says that children and young people’s health should be as good as possible.
UNCRC Article 27
I have the right to have a proper house, food and clothing
Article 27 of the UNCRC says children and young people should be able to have the food and housing they need to reach their full potential.
